I've decided to name my weird race of alien lizards 'Tikoth'. No real reason or meaning behind the name.. aside from now I can stop calling them 'alien lizards'.

This is a Fisher! A male fisher. The males are the smaller, cuter members of this clan, where the Carvers are like, 8 feet or taller the fishers only reach at any time 5 feet or under. The females being the taller, beefier variants, that's a female's head displaying the unfolded crest, teeth and tongue. The vents on the cheek work like how a snakes would with sensing changes in the water/temp and aids with picking up scents, the dealies at the end of the males antennas work the same way, they have antennas instead of cheekvents to play on the act of mating habits. The males are also the primary fishers whereas the females run shop/do the cooking. Hand I doodled shows another trait only the males have, little spines that can flatten down along their hands and fingers that aid in grabbing fish or their mates. The feet can spread out wider 'n what I doodled, also, I wanted to see it work mainly, decided to keep it there.
The cuffs around this males wrists are made from shiny fish scales. They have nothing to do with fashion, they aid him in hunting for when he's under water he can catch the sun's reflection and flash those cuffs to attract fish. The pouches (3, one hardly seen and another at the back) hold various hunting thingies and cleaning tools, ect. Instead of the carvers the Fisher folk have bands of coral dyed special colors that they wear around their arm to show which fishing spots they can fish in, the spots usually staying within a family grouping with the allowance of friends to join them in hunts. 7 rings for 7 major waterways with usually up to 4 family groupings each tending to the waters and various fish, each area having different variants of seafood. Aside from the rings there's also the extended families that wear cuffs instead of bands, they 'tend to the beaches, peers and seafront things and fish off the coasts and in the sea. The beaches and sea areas are just loosely owned however, and 'vacation' cuffs can be bartered for and so forth.

I dunno, I get a kick out of this so far. I'm enjoying making really cute things that could easily bite ones face off. c_c
